Gera McChesney

 

     I create garden sculptures, in both limited edition pieces and original works as in fountains and commissioned pieces.

     I also do portrait work as in busts, figurines or dolls and on occasions in pastels.  I can create fantasy portraits as well, i.e.  turned loved ones into knights complete with armor. I am currently creating portrait wedding cake toppers.

     I instruct sculpture and drawing classes at the Fairfield Bay Racquet Club on Tuesday's and Thursday mornings, from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. More information about those classes can be found through the Recreation Department.   I am also currently putting together classes at the Ozark Heritage Art Center and Museum in Leslie, AR. as well,  times and days to be announced, following an informative and enrollment meeting on the 19th of March at 6:00p.m. at that same location.   I am also known to give private classes, for those whose schedules conflict with existing classes.  

    At this time, I don't feel I have enough pieces available for a one person show, but hopefully in the near future.
