The Central Arkansas Home School Band

            The CAHSB embarks on it second year of music education in the Clinton, Ark., area.

             The CAHSB goal is to provide a basic, solid, first- and second-year music education to home-schooled children.

             The 2006-2007 school year brings a new direction to the band due to the retirement of Mrs. Jacki Carlo as the band director.  Band parents have hired a new director in the expertise of Mr. Ralph Baker of Clinton, Ark.  Mr. Baker's credentials include a master's degree in music as well as more than 20-years experience in church music ministry.  With Mr. Baker on board as director, CAHSB promises an exciting future for music enthusiasts.

             The CAHSB program provides home-schooled students in the Central Arkansas area an opportunity to learn to play an instrument and enjoy the camaraderie that being part of a band can provide.  Parents are encouraged to take up and instrument and join in, learning along with their school-age children.
