A
new art exhibit by members of the North Central Arkansas Artist League was hung
September 11th on the second floor of the
Ozark
Medical
Center
in
Clinton
. Subject matter includes landscapes, figures, abstracts, animals, rural life,
and florals. Media used is varied, including watercolor, acrylic on wood, black
ink, prints, and oils. Paintings in the rotating exhibit are all for sale, with
a portion of each purchase donated to the Hospital Auxiliary.
Twelve
artists are featured among the 25 original watercolors, oils, and acrylics. They
are Jeanne Homuth, Lea Berry, Ruby Krimm, Charlotte Rierson, Ellen Kelly, D. G.
Hendrickson, Pauline Sears, and Doris Sexson, all of Fairfield Bay; Jan Cobb and
Julie Caswell, Edgemont; Wendy Ianziti, Clinton, and Hospital Exhibit Chair
Joyce Hartmann, Choctaw.
The
NCA Artist League meets to paint together each Monday from 9:00 to noon at the
Fairfield
Bay
Senior
Center
, and several members paint outdoors together at various locations on Saturdays.
