The North Central Arkansas Art League, NCAAL, is an active group of local artists promoting the arts in the community and beyond. The group consists of beginners to professional artists of all ages. The League was founded in 1977 by Jeanne Homuth and Melva King. The current membership is over 35 members from the surrounding area. They meet weekly to paint and share their talents through exhibits in the community. Workshops with nationally known artists are made available to the membership and public throughout the year.
The League's artworks are on display at the Fairfield Bay and Greer's Ferry libraries, Ozark Medical Center, local banks, Indian Rock Village, Indian Hills Country Club, Fairfield Bay Community Club, and the Senior Center. NCAAL meets Mondays from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Greenwood Building, HWY 330 at Greenwood, next to the Fire Station. Member's paintings are on display for viewing and sale at the Bayside Gallery in the Greenwood Building during Monday's meetings and by appointment.
